In February 2009, Greece did not slip – as was much dreaded then – into a second wave of the swine flue, but – as it often goes together – into an economic crisis and a particularly harsh austerity program, that sucked a lot of money out of circulation.
A big part of my clientele disappeared almost over night. Others wanted to continue therapy, but could not pay anylonger.
That was, when I started a charity program for those of my patients who were – and still are – particularly disenfranchised.
